Our Mission
PODER is a week-long early arrival program for first-generation, first year, and undocumented/DACA students. Our workshops, facilitated by upperclass students with shared experiences and backgrounds, empower first-year students to feel confident in their identities and capabilities as they navigate their academic, professional, and personal success at Northeastern and beyond.

To foster a supportive and collaborative community that prepares first-year, first-generation, and undocumented/DACA students for a successful transition into Northeastern.
Our Workshops
PODER workshops help students acclimate to campus life and utilize available resources. Designed intentionally by our committee of upperclassmen Program Managers (PMs), these workshops focus on a range of professional and academic skills essential for student success.
